Emily White, violin & trombone

You would be forgiven for assuming that baroque trombonist Emily White has a virtuoso violinst for an identical twin, so unique is a command of these two instruments in one player.  However, both have long been her passion and profession.  Having studied trombone and violin at The Royal Academy, The Guildhall School and Trinity College, London, Emily has since become a mainstay of the British early music scene.  She is a member of the English Cornett & Sackbut Ensemble (ECSE), has been a long-serving musician at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and plays with groups such as The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightment, the Gabrieli Consort & Players, The Sixteen, ...
